Wanderer is something I’ve been wanting to do for a while. I don’t know where my inspiration randomly came from to jump in and finish it, but I ran with it while I had it and this site was uploaded in early July of 2007. The other sites I had seen online concentrated on Sabin and Edgar’s stories more than anything else, and I wanted to create something that analyzed who Sabin is more than what he’s done. And so I did. There’s not a lot of emphasis on the story here; if you want that you should play the game. You won’t regret it; it’s awesome!

The name Wanderer came from nowhere really. I was sitting around thinking about Sabin and the name just popped in my head. It relates to his pre-game experiences mostly, particularly his ten years with Duncan and Vargas. It also relates to his personality, though. Sabin is very much an in-the-moment kind of guy who acts on his impulses. I wanted to stress that with the name of the site, but I’m not sure how well that worked. ;-)

Game Faqs' game script for the game helped a tremendous amount. You have no idea how much, honestly. Affiliate sprites were taken from Phylomortis. Resources used are from Hybrid Genesis, Echoica, and Rain Harbour. All layouts were created in Adobe Photoshop and coded in Notepad. Lastly, I don’t own Sabin or Final Fantasy VI. If I did I’d be a rich man. Unfortunately they’re the property of Square-Enix and not me. This site, however, is mine (Todd), and I want to be consulted before it’s duplicated in any shape or form.
